Thrifting in Nairobi’s Gikomba and Toi markets is a popular way to find trendy, affordable clothing. The founders (Sam
& Brian) deeply involved in the second-hand clothing community, noticed a gap in the market for well-fitting menswear.
They started importing premium clothing from Turkey but encountered sizing issues tailored to Caucasian body types.
Recognizing the prevalence of tailors in Nairobi, they founded a company aiming to celebrate Kenyan cultural identity
through fashion while addressing sizing issues. Their mission is to leverage technology for societal impact, with a vision to
create clothing that tells stories of African culture. Their design ethos blends flamboyance with conservatism, and they plan
for a scalable, sustainable retail future infused with cultural beauty.
